White wine, red wine, champagne, port, sherry – all are served in a different glass, shaped to enhance the various aromas, flavours and characteristics of each liquid. While a table of varied glassware looks elegant when dining out, storing every possible glass for every occasion at home can be impractical. Designer Richard Brendon has teamed up with wine expert Jancis Robinson to solve this and created the One Glass, a single stemmed glass with the optimum shape to enhance every wine, whatever its style.

Arrangements, by Michael Anastassiades for Flos, is comprised of nine interchangeable linear lighting elements, including lines, circles, pear drops and diamonds. Each one can be hung with any other, in any combination to create a custom, set-piece chandelier. Simply click them together and switch on. Then change your mind and remix them. Bold, graphic and elegant, modern lighting has a new instant classic.

'No two materials are alike. No two sites on earth are alike. No two buildings have the same purpose. The purpose, the site, the material determine the shape. Nothing can be reasonable or beautiful unless it’s made by one central idea, and the idea sets every detail. A building is alive, like a man.'
