Created by Paola Lenti, the Agio is a modular sofa system with a range of customisable elements. From simple corner sofas to elaborate seating islands, the low-slung pieces have adjustable backrests for upright or more-relaxed lounging. Wooden tables with various finishes can also be interconnected and a range of complimentary loose cushions and floor rugs finish the look.
'No two materials are alike. No two sites on earth are alike. No two buildings have the same purpose. The purpose, the site, the material determine the shape. Nothing can be reasonable or beautiful unless it’s made by one central idea, and the idea sets every detail. A building is alive, like a man.'
